Web development for Capital Training
Capital Training is a New Zealand lower North Island-based, NZQA accredited, private training establishment (PTE) offering a wide range of free courses and qualifications to prepare people for the modern workplace. They were referred to me via word of mouth while scoping around for the right person to redesign their website.
Capital Training already had a website but it was built on proprietary software from a vendor based in New Zealand. They needed a site that allowed them to have a news section (blog), a list of all their courses and various contact pages for all their office locations.
Due to a limited budget, they declined the idea of having online courses that could be purchased online. Instead, we went with an offline solution. I proposed to use WordPress as it’s ubiquitous and allows for all the control they would ever need. People interested in courses would either fill out a contact form or call using their contact numbers.

This project was created using Adobes Illustrator CC 2019, Photoshop CC 2019, WordPress, NotePad++, cPanel, and an old fashioned sketchbook & pencil.
